Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic Drainage Massages are a form of bodywork that moves fluid build-up through the body to improve your immune system, reduce painful swelling, and provide healing relief to post-surgery patients. Post-surgical LDMs are designed to drain even the most tender and bruised bodies.

Post-op inflammation can evolve into fibrosis (a permanent hardening of the tissue) or a seroma (pocket of serum) can form. That is why the first few weeks after your operation are the most crucial for smooth healing. But don’t sweat, that’s where we come in! Our massage therapists are specifically certified to perform lymphatic drainage massages with a specialty in post-operational care.

LDM II: Skin Tightening

Usually, after post-op patients finish an LDM package, they’re looking for the next step. Their skin has healed and they want a contoured, defined figure to show off their new results! This is where LDM II: Skin Tightening comes in. 

As the second stage of LDMs, LDM II incorporates similar techniques, but your massage therapist will use more aggressive movements to help shape, contour and tighten the skin all while continuing to flush. Massaging the skin increases collagen production by promoting oxygen and blood flow.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a treatment that increases the oxygen level in a monitored, pressurized environment to provide healing and relief.

Many post-op patients at AcuSpa have been incorporating oxygen treatments into their post-op aftercare routines to get the best results. Hyperbaric oxygen chamber sessions have been proven to speed up recovery while minimizing swelling, bruising, and pain.

According to Hyperbarics Orlando, “HBOT speeds up recovery time up to 75% after surgery.” Outstanding benefits of HBOT include reducing chronic inflammation, inducing faster wound closure, promoting blood vessel and tissue regeneration, and improving collagen production.

InfraRed Light Program: Healing & Recovery

Many of our post-surgery patients use Red Light Therapy to induce faster healing and wound closure. Cosmetic procedures can leave the body feeling inflamed and tender.

Infrared light penetrates deep into the tissues and stimulates cell regeneration, healing you from the inside out. The mixed light during a Celluma session treats the skin, softening bruises and scars left behind by the operation.

Red Light Therapy has been proven to reduce inflammation, bacterial infections, and the pain associated with post-op healing. Patients notice that after just a couple sessions, their operated areas are less swollen and sensitive.

With each health evaluation, we aim to create a personalized plan that works synergistically with your current medical goals or concerns. It’s important to note that our goal is NOT to replace your current doctor or the medications you’re taking. We offer holistic remedies and supplements to stabilize your health so that you and your healthcare practitioner can reassess your plan at some point.

For your first appointment, we'll have you bring a copy of your most recent bloodwork and any supplements you're taking. How to Book an Appointment at AcuSpa

To schedule appointments, please contact our front desk managers at (626) 578-9119 via call or text. To secure your first session, we kindly request that you provide a credit card number to reserve your spot. Need to change an appointment? Running low on your supplements? We're just a call away!

Acuspa’s Cancellation Policy

Your time and well-being is very important to us. We understand that life happens and schedules change. However, please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you.

Any cancellation* made less than 24 Hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 100% of the reserved services. If your appointment is part of a package, we will count the session as used. We require a credit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file.

*Cancellations include rescheduling, arriving over 20 minutes late, and no call no shows.*
