Infrared Light: Healing & Recovery

Celluma Infrared Light Therapy (also known as LED/Light Emitting Diode therapy or Phototherapy) is the application of light energy to safely treat a wide variety of conditions that range from acne to hair loss, muscle pain, and wound healing.

How Does the Infrared-Light Program Work?

Red Light Therapy has been proven to reduce inflammation, bacterial infections, and the pain associated with post-op healing. Patients notice that after just a couple sessions, their operated areas are less swollen and sensitive.

Near-infrared light penetrates the muscle, making it ideal for all pain, joint, and muscle concerns like:

  • Wound Healing
  • Post-Operation Healing
  • Chronic Pain Management
  • Hair Restoration

Infrared Light and Surgery

Many of our post-surgery patients use Red Light Therapy to induce faster healing and wound closure. Cosmetic procedures like lipo, tummy tuck, and BBL involve surgically injecting and/or removing fat using surgical instruments like a cannula. This can leave space between the skin and muscle leaving the inside of your skin inflamed and tender, almost like road rash.

Infrared light penetrates deep into the tissues and stimulates cell regeneration, healing you from the inside out. The mixed light during a Celluma session treats the skin, softening bruises and scars left behind by the operation.
